When this instrument was commissioned, I immediately saw the potential in it and wondered why I hadn’t thought of it before. It is a melange of tonal blues purism and the optimised ergonomics of modernity, which makes for good playability.

Pickup frames have been omitted for visual reasons and the contrast between the shiny nickel-plated hardware and the dark walnut speaks for itself. With the 3-way switch, each pickup should stand on its own and shine unadulterated. It looks like a metal machine, has its neck thickness and profile, frets and string action, but it sings heavenly – like a Bluesbird. ”With the appropriate setting on the tube amp, it goes from almost acoustic to jazzy to hard rock. The struck notes stand in the room with dreamlike clarity and presence. The sustain is powerful and very long.”

The concept will be included in the production program. A big THANK YOU to Ludger for this extraordinary inspiration
